This Friday we packed up the bus and went camping! Good times…
Couple of weeks ago I modified the NOS (New Old Stock) VW bus muffler with some extra drilled holes inside and welded a extra exhaust port to run dual stock exhaust pipes. I bought a new extra exhaust pipe and cut it in pieces and welded it “flipped” and “mirrored” to fit on right/passangerside of the bus. All this to get a little less back pressure and gain better exhaust flow and still keep the “stock” look, instead of bolting on a extractor pipe. Looks and sounds cool!
This is a well built portable/wireless modern stereo in a cool retro suitcase. It has loud speakers with lots of bass, aux/mp3 connection for smartphone. USB connection lso. Volume button, treble, bass etc adjustment. Built in charger and battery so this can play wireless on the beach or at a meeting/event for 10 hours without charging. We have built suitcase stereos since 2007.
Want a stereo like this? A ready to play “standard stereo/suitcase” like this would cost around $300 or 290 Euros. Send an e-mail to: 4sale@maindrive.org
And we will start building your retro dream stereo…

Canyon brown leatherette interior. Extra option was: Ebersprächer heater, heavy duty shocks, backup lamps, vent wings in cabdoors.
This bus needs new rockers, rear fenders, some new metal in the front fenders and floor. Will get new nice camping interior and a nice paintjob. Will keep you all updated on pics here on the website.
